Read the attached regarding the behaviour of the elephants at Thula Thula who came to grieve and honour the passing of Lawrence Anthony two weeks ago.
When he was alive we had deep discussion about their and his telepathic connection. Whenever Lawrence was returning from a lengthy trip away, the ellies would “mysteriously” appear at the reserve’s main gate to welcome him back. Once the herd was waiting patiently at the gate whilst he was en route via plane – the elephants having set off for the gate at the time he drove to his departure airport. Mid-journey his flight was redirected to another airport for technical reasons, and at that exact time the ellies gave up waiting and returned to the grasslands.
